We've located a few more retrospective Bryce Kanights 80's streestyle skate decks in our archive. Each of them have a faint dark line that spans across the nose and front truck area (see photo). This problem in production was due to drying on the rack after being sprayed with clear polyurethane. We've adjusted the pricing to account for these cosmetic blemishes.
BK's original signature Schmitt Stix pro model which were first released in January of 1988. The black dyed veneers on the top and bottom of this 7-ply maple deck compliment the gargoyle graphics originally drawn by Jay Henry based on a photograph by Bryce Kanights which was submitted to Paul Schmitt.
Just as it was sold through skate shops and mail order outlets three decades ago, Lifeblood's BK gargoyle deck measures in at 30" x 10" with a 15" wheelbase and it's constructed on the same S-4 Concave and mold with a slight rocker from nose to tail.
Only 50 of these limited edition decks in this colorway were produced; each of them has been personally signed (top and bottom) and numbered by Bryce.
Take this skateboard to the streets, walls, backyard pools, schoolyards, and jump ramps for which it was originally intended and have a blast. Of course, it will also look great hanging on your wall as an art piece added to your collection before or after you've skated it. Your choice, skate the world!
